On my last trip to Georgia, I was lucky enough to find the Highland Bakery in downtown Atlanta. What a great place to have breakfast in. I started the order with a delicious sweet potato biscuit, followed by an order of French toasts which were huge thick pieces of bread, with berries as toppings and a delicious french cream on top. They are so far the best french toasts I’ve ever had! Andy ordered the highland breakfast, which was as equally delicious as the french toasts. One of the great things about Highland Bakery is the serving size… How big of a serving size? Well, let’s just say you will definitely be satisfied with the portions you are served. The ambiance there is also part of which is why I fell in love with the place. It’s a very calm and down to earth kind of place and the staff are really friendly! All the baked goods are made fresh, hence the word “BAKERY” in the name! Anyhow… It’s safe to say that on my next trip to Atlanta I will definitely be making a stop at Highland Bakery!

The first time I went to Vegas, I didn’t really like it. It was just too overwhelming. I didn’t have a purpose of going, it was just a weekend vacation. But the second time I went, it was to see my favorite band, “The Strokes”. This time, I really had a BLAST.

The concert was in one of Las Vegas’ newest hotels, The Cosmopolitan. Wow, it was nice! Also, the concert was amazing. Thanks to The Strokes, I finally had a good time in Vegas. So, why are there no pictures of the concert? Well, I was just too busy having fun enjoying the music!

Living in Phoenix finding great food it’s hard! So I’ve made a mission to go out there and try new places and find the best affortable but great places to go grab a bite! And that’s exactly what I did today. I was in the mood for Cuban food so I search and thanks to Yelp.com I was able to find Mimita’s Cuban Cafe. Words to described Mimita’s WOW, GREAT, DELICIOUS! As soon as I took the first bite of my Lechon Asado I was in heaven the pork was cooked just right! Also Andy had the Cuban sandwich also DELICIOUS!!!! Not only was the food great but our server was very friendly as soon as we sat down he asked us if it was our or first time and he started to give us suggestions he was very helpful.  I finished my meal with a cafe cubano which made the whole meal PERFECT! So if you’re in the mood to go to Miami but don’t feel like flying all the way to florida Mimita’s this is the the place to go. At least you’re tummy would feel like it’s really there =) I’m definitely going back!

Even though spring is not here yet, in phoenix we are already feeling the hot weather. So what does that mean for Che Gonzales??? It means IT’S TANNING TIME!!!!!!!!!!  Everyday my little pug goes out and enjoys the beautiful sun of phoenix. We better enjoy it now before it gets to the triple digits.
