On our way back from Vegas we took a small detour and decided to stop by the Hoover Dam. They’re building a new bridge! Can’t wait to go back and see it all done.

The best part of the game I have to say, was when the obvious Dominican players would be up to pitch and they would play a reggaeton song. Well, that was… Fun…

I did have a great time with my boys, I always do!

Las Vegas, Sin City…. right, right… Honestly I didn’t really see what all the hype is about. Theres so much light there, so much that I’m pretty sure it could trigger seizures.

It’s sad to say but the people almost seem like zombies just sitting there in their little machines, pulling the handle waiting to see if today is the day they finally get lucky.

The best and simplest way I can describe Vegas is like that flashy woman you see in the corner with lots of make-up, overwhelming amount of fake jewelry and the skimpy dress, that even if you don’t want to look at her you’re tempted to take a peek just because she’s begging for attention…

All in all I have to say Vegas is just not for me!

2 months that’s the time that I spend taking care of my Mom. Helping my Mom recuperate from heart surgery was an easier process than I imagine, she’s such a little fighter .

In the time I was there I learned to play Domino, Phase 10, Monopoly and last but not least the classic game of UNO. I could probably name every song that artists such as Chayanne, Juan Gabriel, Ana Gabriel, Rocio Durcal, and Marco Antonio Solis sing.

There was not one day that I didn’t see my mother smile even if she was in pain. I think sometimes she only smiled so my sister and I would think she was fine, when we clearly knew she wasn’t.

Someone once said to me, “Well I hope she appreciate all that you did for her”. I didn’t respond back to that person but I did think, “I don’t want nor do I need my mother’s appreciation, I took care of her because “I” appreciate all that she has done and the many sacrifices that she has done for me which I know have been a lot”.

I’m glad to say that she’s doing great you wont see her running a marathon any time soon but she’s getting there. Thank you God for getting us through this one.

Love you Mom, now, always and forever….

It’s a beautiful day in Phoenix today. It’s cloudy, rainy and cold. I was starting to think that fall and winter simply do not exist here in Phoenix or that more than likely I had Satan as my bunk buddy since it’s always burning hot, but not today, OH NO!!!! NOT TODAY! Hell has finally frozen over!

So for those of you that ever said, “Oh No I will never do that, I will never hook up with Panchito UNLESS hell freezes over”, or in any situation or in a case those words, “UNLESS HELL FREEZES OVER” came out of your mouth, I’m sorry to tell you but you’ve lost. So while the rest of you are out there paying your dues, Che and I will sit back and enjoy this B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L day while sipping on nice hot cup of green tea.

Got bored on a Saturday afternoon so we went out, driving around we found this place Goldfield ghost town. It was a nice little place to go, even though it was more than 100 degrees that day and all the  signs that said,”watch out for rattle snakes” we still had fun.

Hello and a Happy Friday to you all!!!

Unbeknownst to many people, I happened to have picked up the Ukulele. After some practice , I’ve decided to share my hobby with the world. So I eventually did what I always do, I made  two covers of songs that I like. The first is “Butterfly Nets” by Bishop Allen; the second “I wanna grow old with you” by Adam Sandler.
